Fried-Cassorla Communications delivers 576% ROI and wins PDMA's Benny Award for Electronic Marketing

Melrose Park, PA - The Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association has awarded its Benjamin Franklin Award for Direct Marketing Excellence in Electronic Marketing to Fried-Cassorla Communications, Inc. (FCC).

The award was given for results achieved by the agency's MAC Direct Solutions e-mail newsletter marketing campaign, which yielded a 576% Return on Investment (ROI). Results were measured by salespeople reporting on customers who read the e-newsletter's stories, were impressed, and then asked for help with new or additional projects.

Each e-newsletter not only sold but helped people with solid information and success stories

A happy soul!

The campaign made use of a lively electronic newsletter, which was sent to MAC Direct's clients and prospective customers. MAC Direct is a direct marketing services company that provides printing, personalization and many other services. Each edition of the e-newsletter was researched and written by Albert Fried-Cassorla.

Stories in the editorial mix included colorful case histories, informative articles about direct marketing, response-oriented offers and much more.

A sample issue may be viewed at: http://www.macdirect.com/enewsletter/index.asp

Stories created for the newsletter over several issues may be found at the e-newsletter's archives: http://www.macdirect.com/enewsletter/archives.asp

The e-mailings were personalized and interactive, dynamically illustrating the potential of e-mail leveraging other interactive D.M. strategies. MAC Direct produced, personalized and sent the newsletter, and many of it staff members were also co-honored by this Benny Award.

Albert Fried-Cassorla, president and copywriter for Fried-Cassorla Communications, Inc., said, "Our client had great success stories to tell, each one illustrating a benefit that another potential customer could make their own. We're happy for MAC Direct's staff and ours that we've won this prestigious award!"

This is the fifth Benny Award won by FCC, which won the highest honor, the Thomas Black Best of Show Award in 1994. The agency previously won in prior years for its work on behalf of Scott Paper Company / Kimberly Clark, U.S. Pharmacopoeia, and Thomas Publishing.

The Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA) is a 550+ member organization serving direct marketing professionals in the Philadelphia region. Albert Fried-Cassorla is the incoming president of the group. Judging for this year's awards was done by out-of-town judges belonging to the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW).
